Intelligent computing for WPT–MEC-aided multi-source data stream

Abstract Due to its low latency and energy consumption, edge computing technology is essential in processing multi-source data streams from intelligent devices. This article investigates a mobile network aided by wireless power transfer (WPT) for streams, where the channel parameters characteristic of stream are varied. Moreover, we consider practical communication scenario, devices with limited battery capacity cannot support executing transmitting computational under given latency. Thus, WPT adopted this considered enable harvest beacon. In further, considering device’s consumption constraints, propose an optimization problem constraints. To solve problem, design customized particle swarm optimization-based algorithm, which aims at minimizing device jointly optimizing charging offloading strategies. Furthermore, simulation results illustrate that proposed method outperforms other benchmark schemes latency, shows method’s superiority stream.
